The sidebar_reference_sessions payload arrives project-unscoped from
/api/sessions. _renderSidebarRowsFromRawSessions appended it to EVERY
render unconditionally, so an archived parent in project B entered a
project-A-filtered render's suppression context and silently hid a
visible project-A child/fork (rendered as []). Add
_scopedSidebarReferenceRows() to filter references to the same project +
webui/cli source bucket as the render they feed, mirroring
_partitionSidebarSessionRows. Regression test locks the cross-project
case; the existing suppression test now exercises the scoped helper.

ROOT FIX (product bug): POST /api/settings never invalidated the session-list
cache, so toggling show_cli_sessions/show_cron_sessions could serve a stale
sidebar for up to the cache TTL when the settings-file mtime stamp collided with
a cached entry. The handler now clears the cache directly on those toggles. This
is also the root cause of the recurring test_gateway_sync CI flake (session
absent from /api/sessions right after the visibility toggle).
DEFENSE-IN-DEPTH: cleanup_test_sessions fixture now resets show_cli_sessions to
default BEFORE each test too, not only in teardown.
FLAKE FIX (test infra): bump 31 node-subprocess correctness-harness timeouts from
10s -> 30s across 23 test files. Node spawn + V8 warmup under parallel CI shard
load can exceed 10s, causing TimeoutExpired flakes (e.g. test_1325 on #4445).
Only real node subprocess.run() sites changed — mock signatures, HTTP urlopen,
and deliberate timeout-behavior tests (test_api_timeout, timeout=0/1/2) untouched.
Re-pushed by rodboev fixing both bounce findings (parent streaming-state
isolation + nested-fork batch-select) plus a select-handler selector fix.
On current master (0 behind); sessions.js byte-identical to PR head.

tests/test_session_lineage_collapse.py invokes 'node -e <source>' where
<source> embeds the entire static/sessions.js content. Linux's
MAX_ARG_STRLEN is 131,072 bytes per argv arg; sessions.js plus the test
scaffolding now exceeds that limit, producing OSError(Argument list too
long).
Switching to 'node' with source via stdin removes the limit. No behavioral
change to the tests themselves — they still exercise the same JS functions
on the same input data.
When a session's compression lineage spans multiple segments (linked via _lineage_root_id from api/agent_sessions.py), the sidebar previously rendered each segment as a separate top-level row. Adds _collapseSessionLineageForSidebar() that groups by lineage root and keeps only the most recently active tip per group, with a _lineage_collapsed_count marker for future UI affordances.
