## [v0.51.690] — 2026-06-27 — Release YT (a fresh blank boot binds the profile's default workspace)

### Fixed
- **Opening WebUI on a fresh/blank boot now binds the profile's default workspace**, so the first session starts in the right workspace instead of an unbound/empty one. The bind helper now runs at **both** empty-state boot entry points — the ephemeral-scratch path (after the active-profile bootstrap resolves) and the no-saved-session path — so neither fresh-boot route is left without a workspace. It's a no-op when a real saved session or explicit workspace already exists (returning users are unaffected), and it runs after the post-upgrade 401 recovery (#5018) so the two boot paths don't interact. Thanks @rodboev. (#4971, fixes #4877)
